Emilie, John and Helen have worked together for many years, and share the same approach: “contracts made simple”. We appreciate that clients have little or no interest in legal principles and drafting – they’re far more interested in achieving results through contracts, whether it be saving money, increasing profits, reducing the time needed for buying or selling complex services, making contracts easier to manage, or avoiding hidden costs. We use our visual contract design methodology (VCD) to help clients achieve results.
John helps buyers and suppliers to make effective contracts for complex technology and outsourcing services, and to solve problems when things go wrong.
Before starting V-LEX in 2009, John was one of the leading technology lawyers in the UK. He now bridges the gap between lawyer, procurement professional and consultant. John is past Chairman of the Society for Computers and Law, and in 2006, he was made a Fellow of the Society in recognition of his exceptional contribution to the development of IT law in the UK. He also teaches procurement at the NHS Digital Academy for digital leaders in the NHS.
Helen is a commercial consultant to V-LEX, helping V-LEX’s clients to make, shape and manage all manner of commercial deals, including complex technology and outsourcing contracts.
Helen has over 20 years’ experience advising on technology contracts, including those in the NHS, and was previously a partner at renowned healthcare law firm DACBeachcroft, in the health commercial and technology practice. Helen trades through v-lex (south west) limited, which works closely in association with V-LEX LIMITED.
Emilie is an outsourcing and technology consultant familiar with SaaS, cloud services and outsourcing (IT and BPO) in health and Fintech. She also has considerable experience of public procurement, supply chain management, data privacy and information security.
Emilie was a legal director at international law firm DAC Beachcroft before joining V-LEX, and also gained in-house experience at Sodexo.
